FOR PUPPIES BETWEEN 6 MONTHS AND 1 YEAR CUT THE GARLIC CONTENT BY 2

Flea control treatment are not around for that long and few decades ago people where using natural and homemade solution to control pest.
For fleas, one ingredient that I proofed myself: Brewer’s yeast and garlic

For this recipe you’ll need:

– 2 Cups of whole wheat flour (here 1/2 whole wheat 1/2 unbleached white)
– 1/2 Cup of wheat germs
– 1/2 Cup of brewer’s yeast
– 2 cloves garlic preferably organic and locally grown
(garlic in small quantities are beneficial for dogs)
– 3 TBSP of olive oil
– 1 Cup of chicken or beef stock

Combine the flour, wheat germ, and yeast in a bowl. Mix the oil and garlic and slowly add to flour mixture, alternating with the chicken or beef stock. Continue until all the ingredients are incorporated into a smooth dough.
Roll out on a lightly floured. surface until 1/4in thick.
You can cut it into square with pizza cutter (super fast) or you can use a cookie cutter to cut into biscuits. Place on parchment paper and bake at 400F for about 20 to 25min or until browned. I like them to be slightly soft so when they chew on them they don’t crumble into piece.
