This command is one of the basics you have to teach your dog. It really helps either on making sure that your dog will go on a specific spot when asked for but it also helps, like with crate training, to create a safe spot for your dog.

If you travel somewhere with your dog and it’s an unknown environment this mat or towel will be something familiar for your pooch. He will feel safe on it regardless of the place you are.
