This video must be considered as a part one as it will show you how to lure your dog into position (either down or sit) but consider watching the part two which will show you how to teach an implied “Stay” and use a release cue to allow your dog to move.

Here we will just use luring technique by placing a treat in our hand and we will place it in front of our dog’s nose to lure it into position.
