Here a few videos (this is part 1) on how to teach your puppy to rest on a specific spot. In order to show you that it doesn’t take very long I recorded few sessions. They never lasted more than 5mins. But they’re is no rule. Maybe your dog will have only 3min attention span and that’s fine. Just I would recommend to not exceed 10min.

I never met the situation where she was too excited, or tired or anything that stopped us for that training session. Also we always did it around the same time. Again that’s a very overlooked aspect but you’ll see better and faster  results if you do it around the same time (conditioning).
